But, the Theatrical cut is a butchered version of the story, that cuts crucial scenes and isn’t even consistent about what it cuts. It literally keeps all the buildup to the Gandalf Witch king battle, but cuts the battle fks.

Slight, yes, but it would not play in my XBoX One S, the other discs worked fine, but the second disc of the extended edition wouldn’t. (Ironically it was the second half of the Two Towers extended on DVD I was trying to replace) not sure if it was in transit, packaged damaged, but I only noticed it when it went into the player.
